Kermit Aquaponics Facility

The Kermit Aquaponics Facility project was started in the spring of 2019 and completed in the winter of 2019. The facility includes a full greenhouse with automated roof-vents, side curtain, heaters, fans, and grow-lights for climate control. The facility was built on reclaimed abandoned mine land and will be capable of producing a variety of vegetables, along with fresh filleted tilapia. Multiple schools will be using the facility to do research and learn the plant life cycle
