This much-needed bus garage bid originally came in over budget. However, we were able to value engineer the project, and ultimately, we renovated the former West Virginia National Guard Armory to construct the new Transportation Facility. This project consisted of building and site demolition, building site work, site utility work, concrete paving, and mechanical and electrical upgrades. Materials used included chain-link fencing, masonry, structural steel, metal panels, steel frames, wooden doors, overhead garage doors, and gypsum board assemblies.
